The cancellation of the annual Zed Haunted House event due to Covid-19 and the resultant loss of fundraising revenues has had a tremendous impact on BGC Red Deer. As the long-time presenting sponsor of the annual event Border Paving stepped up in a big way with a generous $60,000 donation to BGC Red Deer.
These much-needed funds will support a variety of programs within BGC. Some of these include our community-based after-school programs, youth drop-in programs as well as our Camp programs. During these challenging times, kids need connections more than ever. This support will enable BGC to continue to maintain our level of service to the community throughout 2021.
