A donation of stocks, securities or mutual fund shares is an efficient way to give charitably and receive tax credit.
When you donate your securities directly to Youth HQ, capital gains aren’t subject to tax. We receive a larger gift, and you benefit from a tax receipt for the full value of your eligible securities or mutual funds.
We work with SERVUS Credit Union and Canada Helps to receive gifts of securities.

Consider designating Youth HQ as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, or a beneficiary of your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
To include us as a beneficiary of your RRSP, we recommend you speak to your financial advisor. You will need to:
- Request an RRSP Multiple Beneficiary Designation from your financial advisor.
- Complete the designation form, naming us as one of the beneficiaries.
- Return the form to your financial advisor, and they will update your plan appropriately.
To designate us as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, contact your insurance provider and name us as a beneficiary.
