This camp is an interactive leadership program focusing on self-confidence, cooperation and developing leadership. Camp highlights include initiative tasks, team building, and outdoor challenges. Youth will be organized into one of three excursions based on their interests. This youth leadership camp is sponsored and supported by Central Alberta Rotary Clubs.

This camp is an interactive leadership program focusing on self-confidence, cooperation, and developing leadership skills through adventure-based programming.  Camp highlights include initiative tasks, team building, and one night overnight out trip, campfires, talent show and dance. Youth will be organized into groups based on their choice of adventure option as well as age and prior leadership experiences.

  • Voyageur Canoeing: Groups will do an overnight canoe trip down the North Saskatchewan River in our large 15-passenger canoes.
  • Rock Climbing / Rappelling: Groups will camp along Abraham Lake, then enjoy a day of climbing and/or rappelling at Kootenay Plains, an introductory climbing site.
  • Overnight Hiking Trip: Groups will complete a short hike to Allstones Lake, located on the David Thompson Highway.
