After 43 incredible years of dedicated service to children, youth, and families in our community, John Johnston is retiring from a remarkable career with Youth HQ.
Throughout more than four decades, John has been a passionate advocate, mentor, leader, and friend to countless young people whose lives have been positively shaped through compassion, guidance, and unwavering commitment. His work has helped create safe spaces, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for generations of children and families.
From mentoring programs and community partnerships to youth development initiatives and fundraising efforts, John’s impact reaches far beyond the walls of our organization. His leadership, kindness, and belief in the potential of every child have left a legacy that will continue for years to come.
While we will deeply miss John’s daily presence, wisdom, and dedication, we are excited for this next chapter and the well-deserved opportunities ahead to relax, travel, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy retirement.
Please join us in congratulating John Johnston on an extraordinary 43-year career of service and in thanking him for the lasting difference he has made in our community.
