Home Depot Foundation Orange Door Campaign raises over $26,000 for 49th Street Youth Shelter

Youth HQ is excited to announce that our friends from our local Home Depot raised $26,386.00 during the Holiday Orange Door Campaign held this past December. The Red Deer store was the 2nd highest funds raised out of  Home Depot 76 stores in Western Canada. Funds were raised through customer donations at the tills throughout the month of December. Thank you to the Red Deer community for your generosity throughout the campaign.

Funds raised will help to address facility improvements at the 49th Street Youth Shelter.

The Home Depot Canada Foundation is committed to preventing and ending youth homelessness in Canada. The Home Depot Canada Foundation has pledged $125M in support by 2030. Our commitment will focus on enabling systemic change through investments in three strategic pillars: expanding stable housing for youth, providing quality wrap around community supports, and increasing youth employment readiness.
