The first ever BIG Pursuit event (city wide adventure race) was held on April 23, 2017 and raised $48,000 in support of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Red Deer and District. Forty teams, 200+ participants and our business supporters spent a Sunday afternoon exploring our great city in a way they have before and while doing so, making a difference in support of kids in our community. A special thank you to our presenting sponsor SERVUS Credit Union and our title media partner BIG 105 for making the first BIG Pursuit event a success. This event is a new event to replace the former annual Bowl For Kids campaign which has been running for the past 36 years. Feedback from participants and sponsors has been tremendous and the organizing committee is excited about the future for this annual event. Thank you to all our volunteers for your time and efforts in helping to put on a great event and to our host venue the Sheraton Hotel. We look forward to Sunday, April 22, 2018 for the second annual BIG Pursuit.
