Youth HQ is excited to announce we’ll be offering Youth HQ Summer Day Camps during the 2021 season!

  • Where: Multiple Locations
  • Location: Red Deer , Delburne , Benalto , Springbrook
  • When: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • 5-day camps, and select 4-day camps
  • Camps run 9:00am-5:00pm (4:00pm on Fridays)
  • Camps begin July 5
  • Ages 7-12

Magical Mysteries July 5-9

Allow your curiosity to get swept away by enchanting illusions and imaginative challenges. From Houdini to Harry Potter, there’s something to captivate everyone. Campers will participate in activities based around teamwork, leadership, science, art, culture, physical activity, and personal well-being while developing new friendships, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure.

Location: 5 MacIntosh Ave, Red Deer (Morrisroe West Community Centre)

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Thursday

Live Colourfully July 5-9

Let’s dip our toes into color as we’ve never done before! Mix it, blend it and rediscover the way we look at everything in the world around us. Campers will participate in activities based around teamwork, leadership, science, art, culture, physical activity, and personal well-being while developing new friendships, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure.

Step outside with us and take in all that nature has to offer. Explore, learn and grow as we head into the great outdoors this week. Campers will participate in activities based around teamwork, leadership, science, art, culture, physical activity, and personal well-being while developing new friendships, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure.

The Good, the Bad & the Weird   July 26-30

Let’s turn things inside out and upside down as we explore opposites and take a look at life from different perspectives. Campers will participate in activities based around teamwork, leadership, science, art, culture, physical activity, and personal well-being while developing new friendships, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure.

Road Trip   August 16-20

We’re hitting the proverbial road this week as we dive into different cultures, stories, and styles from around this great land of ours. No GPS necessary, just sit back and enjoy the ride! Campers will participate in activities based around teamwork, leadership, science, art, culture, physical activity, and personal well-being while developing new friendships, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure.

Are you looking to keep your teen busy, active, and learning new skills over the summer? Penhold’s Teen Leadership week will offer a variety of activities that will pique teen’s interest and get them engaged in the community. The week at glance :

Youth HQ Cancellation & Refund Policies for Summer Day Camps:
  • There is a 50% non-refundable deposit that must accompany the registration form to secure the spot. This can be paid directly through our CampBrain registration system for convenience.
  • Full payment must be received two weeks prior to the start date of the session.
  • Cancellations must occur two weeks prior to the start date of the session to get a refund which does not include the 50% non-refundable portion.
  • If there is a cancellation during the day camp week due to sickness and/or family emergencies registration will  be refunded on a pro-rated basis (reduced by 20% per day attended) to a maximum of 50% of the original registration fee.

Items to note that are new due to COVID-19:

  • If Youth HQ cancels a summer day camp ahead of time, a full 100% refund will be given.
  • If a Youth HQ summer day camp is canceled while it is in progress (any time during the week) a 50% refund will be issued.
  • During any cancellations of in-person summer day camp programming, virtual programming is planned as a backup program and participants can participate – even if a refund is being given.
