Youth HQ and BGC extend a heartfelt thank you to WestJet cares for kids for their support in 2024. Throughout 2024, BGC of Red Deer & District and BGC Clearwater received support from WestJet through WestJet Cares for Kids raffles. One of the raffles raised funds to support overnight adventure programming at Camp Alexo in 2024 at an affordable cost. The other raffle helped BGC Clearwater deliver affordable childcare and help provide unforgettable experiences for kids in the community.
The support from the WestJet Cares for Kids raffles is instrumental in ensuring both BGC organizations within Youth HQ can continue to run their programs while keeping the costs as minimal as possible for interested youth and their families.
The most recent winner of the WestJet raffle on December 18 was Mike Hansen.
