Leaving No One Behind

Youth HQ offers financial assistance to help youth take part in activities they may not otherwise have access to due to financial limitations.

We work with community partners who share our values and believe in the importance of providing safe and fun environments for young people to learn and grow in. Our partners feel as strongly as we do about removing barriers for youth seeking to engage in skill building and healthy development.

For those seeking financial assistance with activities and events through Youth HQ or in the City of Red Deer, these subsidies can help provide the necessary funds. In the event a young person in need does not meet the criteria for any of these scholarship options, please contact us directly so that we may help you seek other financial assistance.

Youth HQ Dollars

Youth HQ Dollars (program credit) can be earned by volunteering at any agency led fundraising event or activity. Parents, volunteers, and youth can earn and put these dollars towards any paid activity (such as summer camp, or the winter ski trip) or to purchase agency clothing. Youth HQ Dollars are distributed at the end of an event, either based on an hourly rate or a predetermined amount, and can be accumulated throughout the year. All program credit expires on August 31st each year, so we encourage you to use them for yourself, or a friend!
