Thunderbird is for youth between the ages of 10 to 12 who are looking for an adventure. Programs include both an overnight out trip to a camp located along the Shunda Creek, as well as a day trip down the North Saskatchewan River in a voyageur canoe. During the out trip, youth will sleep in tents, cook food with leaders over the fire, all while playing games, swimming, and exploring nature. Groups will also be able to do archery, play camp wide games, and explore nature in a fun, exciting atmosphere. Youth will have the opportunity to participate in adventures of their choice during their day in camp, whether it be sports, day hikes, or other adventures. Campers will have the opportunity to sleep in Tipi’s, be archers in our archery range, and swim in local waters, such as the Shunda Creek and/or Fish Lake.
